    MISSION STATEMENT

    For the past 16 years, BendFilm has celebrated independent film’s unique power to enrich lives, educate future storytellers, amplify diverse voices and inspire change, all while bringing thoroughly entertaining festival experiences to the Central Oregon community. We need your continued support to bring the life-transforming power of culture to more Central Oregonians. Throughout the 2019 year, BendFilm has:

    • Hosted more than 100 emerging and established filmmakers from all over the globe.

    • Injected more than $1,000,000 into the local economy.

    • Expanded the Indigenous and women filmmaker program in Madras and Bend.

    - Injected more than $1,000,000 into the local economy.

    • Supported the careers of artists at all levels through financial and promotional assistance.

    • Presented our second IndieWoman of the Year Award in honor of Pamela Hulse Andrews to Academy-nominated producer, Christine Vachon.

    • Produced a short film to help Healthy. Beginnings tell their inspirational and life-changing story through the art form of film.

    MISSION STATEMENT

    Imagine a world where every single kid is encouraged to find their passion and is supported by caring adult champions. This is the world Camp Fire is creating in our out-of-school-time pro- grams. We’re using STEM, service-learning, art, and outdoor edu- cation as vehicles for boosting confidence and unlocking potential. But we need your help to make sure every kid in our community has equal opportunity and equal access. With your generous do- nation, we can increase scholarships, provide extra supports for a diverse group of youth, and ensure an inclusive environment for all.

    MISSION STATEMENT

    Camp Tamarack provides youth with experiential opportunities in an outdoor setting that promote an understanding of the environment and world that surrounds them.

    This year: 2,208 - 5th/6th grade students will attend Outdoor School; 650 - kids will spend a week of their summer at Camp Tamarack; 400 - high school students will be leaders, teachers, and role models for younger kids during Outdoor School and Summer Camps.

    $175 – cost for one student to attend Outdoor School

    1 person – number it takes to make a difference. We can’t do what we do without the support of our community.

    WHAT CAN YOUR DONATIONS DO?

    Camp Tamarack is a place for everyone. We are working on making camp ADA accessible to all, and we need to add pathways and ramps throughout camp. We’ll be collaborating with the Forest Service to get an approved plan, and we need to Raise $14,000 for materials to complete the ADA accessibility projects and for the required environmental impact studies

    The Cascade Winds is an ensemble comprised of the region’s finest musicians conducted by Michael Gesme. For over 60 years we have been performing entertaining band music for audiences of all ages. All concerts are free to the public.
