Our club builds great futures by providing a safe place to belong, supportive relationships with caring adults, and high-quality youth development programs that parents trust, all while ensuring access for those who need us most.

WHAT CAN YOUR DONATIONS DO?

Our vision for the future is one in which all youth in Bend are thriving at home, in school, and in our community through access to quality opportunities for growth.

$25 Provides program supplies for students in our after school arts, sports, and academic programs.

$125 Supports experiential learning in our Junior Club.

$250 Sends our Teen club members on a field trip to Boys & Girls Clubs Of Bend museums, local businesses, and college campuses.

$1,250Provides individual counseling sessions with a licensed clinician for youth in our Family Plus program.

MISSION STATEMENT

Every sunrise brings challenges to be met. BrightSide Animal Center faces each new day with optimism, focusing on the possibilities for every animal in our care. BrightSide needs your help. Adoption fees do not cover the costs required to save the animals. BrightSide is a high-save shelter dedicated to providing sheltering, placement and prevention services to reduce animal homelessness and unnecessary euthanasia. We believe that every animal that enters through our back receiving door deserves the chance to leave through our front door with a secure future. MISSION STATEMENT
Our mission is to provide education and support for people who want to improve their compassionate communication skills, deepen their self-understanding, and enrich their relationships. By educating individuals and groups in communication and other complementary life enhancing skills, people develop relationships of trust and respect that lead to cooperative problem-solving strategies. As well as classes and practice groups at our Bend facility, our volunteer teachers provide Nonviolent Communication classes and practice groups at the Deer Ridge Correctional Institution in Madras and classes at COCC. Our volunteers also provide classes and presentations to organizations wanting to communicate more clearly and effectively.
WHAT CAN YOUR DONATIONS DO?
$25 pays for gas for a twice weekly round trip by a volunteer teacher to Deer Ridge Correctional Institution in Madras
$40 buys two Nonviolent Communication textbooks given to the incarcerated adults/students at DRCI
$80 pays for one scholarship for an 8 week Compassionate Communication class
$250 pays for a monthly newsletter to publicize our classes and events
